General Acceptance Conditions
English Language Teaching Program admits students with the foreign language [DİL] score type in the Higher Education Institutions Examination [Yükseköğretim Kurumları Sınavı-YKS] exam conducted by the Turkish Republic Student Selection and Placement Center [Ölçme, Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi- ÖSYM].
Special Acceptance Conditions
The Special Conditions included in the Higher Education Programs and Quotas Guide and referred to in Table 4 are as follows:

Candidates from high school or equivalent vocational schools applying for a vocational program should carefully study Table-6 before determining their preferences regarding this program.

Students who enroll in this program and do not successfully complete the English Preparatory Program within two years, despite attending a language prearatory program, are dismissed from the program. Students who are dismissed from the program after failing the preparatory program can enroll in an equivalent program, if any, in their own higher education institutions, the language of instruction of which is Turkish. However, these students, if they request, can be centrally placed in one of the programs whose language of instruction is Turkish by the Student Selection and Placement Center [Ölçme, Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi- ÖSYM] Presidency for one time as of the year of registration, provided that the relevant score from the Higher Education Institutions Exam [Yükseköğretim Kurumları Sınavı- YKS] scores of the student is not lower than the base score required to enroll in the program in which he or she will be placed.

The language of instruction is English.

A one-year compulsory Preparatory Program is applied in the language of instruction of the program, and at the end of the program, those who pass the proficiency exam in the relevant language are registered directly to the first grade. The preparatory class is not included in the years shown in the teaching time column. a) Students who certify that they have succeeded in one of the national and/or international foreign language exams at the level determined by the university are admitted directly to the department and start the first grade. b) Students who are successful in the relevant language proficiency exam to be held at the beginning of the academic year by the university are directly admitted to the department and start the first grade. The provisions of the “Regulation on the Principles to be Followed in Foreign Language Teaching and Foreign Language Teaching in Higher Education Institutions" are applied to students.

Candidates who have a placement score below the placement score of the candidate whose success rank is in the 300 thousandth place in the placement score type of the program will not be placed in the teaching programs (including the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program) (The success order of the placement score without additional points is taken into account.). Candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be able to choose the relevant program. Candidates who cannot meet this requirement will not be accepted into the placement process, even if they have made their choices (including school first quotas.).

Candidates who include this program in their first 5 preferences and are placed in this program will receive support from the Ministry of National Education in the form of a scholarship for the number of students indicated in the "MEB" column. The Ministry of National Education's announcement on this matter is provided in the later pages of this guide. (Not applicable for additional placements.)
