| Dersin Amacı | The aim of this course is to ensure the sustainable utilization of organic waste materials generated through industrial production within ceramic art and design processes. It is intended that students gain the ability to use these wastes as alternative raw materials in ceramic bodies and glaze compositions, and to evaluate their performance by analyzing the chemical and physical properties of the materials. Furthermore, in line with the concepts of recycling and upcycling, the course aims to enable students to explore the aesthetic and structural potential of waste materials and to integrate them into creative design processes in order to produce original three-dimensional forms.
|
| Dersin İçeriği | Within the scope of this course, it is aimed to investigate organic waste materials generated as a result of industrial production. In this context, the potential use of the identified wastes as raw materials in ceramic bodies or glaze compositions will be examined. During the research process, the developed ceramic bodies will be subjected to chemical and physical tests in order to evaluate the performance of the material. In addition, the structural, surface, and visual–aesthetic contributions of the utilized wastes to the material will be analyzed. At the end of the course, a three-dimensional form will be designed and produced using the developed waste-added ceramic body |
