| Course Objective | Recently, polymer materials has been widely used in industry and daily life. Furthermore, polymer production technology has been developing fastly . So, plastic materials compete other ordinary materials such as steel. Consequently, the students in this course will learn polymers, polymer structure, polymerization techniques, mechanical properties of polymers, reinforcement and fillers in polymers ,constructional problems of polymers, working and environmental conditions of polymers. |
| Course Content | Polymers, I. Polymer history, II. Polymer chemical structure III. Polymer polymerization process, IV. Additives, reinforcements and filler in polymer V. Polymer composites, Polymer production techniques, VI. Mechanical and thermal properties of polymers, VII. Construction problems of polymer and its composite materials VIII. Aging of poymer materials in environmental conditions |
