Dersin Amacı | The aim of the course is to provide the students with the knowledge of the basic structures in a second foreign language, which will be determined in line with the opportunities and needs, besides the first foreign language with specialization areas. With the content in the beginning of the Foreign Language I course, students are expected to learn the language structures they will use in their daily life. They will be encouraged to use their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills effectively. |
Dersin İçeriği | This course complements Foreign Language I course and aims to provide basic communication skills to prospective teachers. At the end of this course, prospective teachers will be able to understand simple everyday conversation dialogues and basic reading pieces, to express themselves in everyday basic language and to ask questions. In order to achieve these goals, dialogues and reading texts will be used. Teacher candidates will be able to recognize the basic structures in the target language used in communication situations, learn basic words, but learn the grammar will not be the main target. Listening skills constitute an important part of this course and will be presented in particular with the ability to speak. In addition, information about the culture and way of life will be given. |
