Genetic discrimination, Neuroscience studies, climate crisis, leisure time and 'qualified leisure' discussions on how to manage it, and transhumanism studies are the issues that may be the main social problems of our age, which are just emerging but in the not too distant future. The main purpose of this course is to discuss how and from which perspective social work, as a science and profession, which aims to protect the subject position of the human being and to ensure sustainable well-being in rapidly changing and transforming living conditions, should address the new generation social problems. The secondary aim of the course is to reveal the basic framework of the new generation social work education, in which the knowledge, skills, and value competencies needed to intervene in the social problems of the future can be acquired in the light of these discussions.
