Course Objective

To improve using concepts as attractive skills by remembering students’ mathematical pre-knowledge.

Course Content

Numbers: number systems and properties, inductive methods, range, absolute value. Relation: order pairs, cartesian product, definition of relation, properties of relation, inverse-relation, equivalance relation, order relation. Function: definition of function, properties, function varieties, inverse function, composite function, trigonometric functions, exponentional functions, logarithmic functions, inverse-trigonometric functions, custom defined functions. Limit: limit of a variable and limits on functions, limit of trigonometric functions. Continuity: definition of continuity, continuity from the right and left, properties of continuous functions, continuity varieties. Derivative: definition of derivative, geometric meaning of the derivative, derivative methods, higher ordered derivatives.
