| Course Objective | The course aims to perform the necessary iconographic analysis to assess Seljuk art, styles and techniques of the works produced in this region will be discussed in the context of traditionality, change and development, also will gain the ability of present new research topics by studying on research and publications related to topic |
| Course Content | Seljuk art an important place in after Islam Turkish art has spread over Iran, Transoxania and Khorasan regions and it is an art that transmitted to Anatolia via Azerbaijan and eastern Anatolia to central Asia and Khorasan traditions in terms of architecture and decorative arts. In this context, the sources of works in Seljuk art and in centuries exchange of comments in the works will be discussed as iconographic. |
