| Course Objective | It is seen that the practical aspect of entrepreneurship education is not used very effectively in Turkey. More emphasis should be placed on experiential and experiential learning. With the Case Studies in Entrepreneurship course, it is thought that this deficiency will be remedied, albeit a little bit. This course aims to enable students who consider entrepreneurship as a career path to benefit from these experiences by using various case studies reflecting important experiences in entrepreneurship. It is thought that our students will gain important gains through various case studies that will be analyzed in the course and various experiences related to entrepreneurship processes. If students see that people can successfully start companies, they will have a higher motivation and confidence to unravel the mystery of the process and make this option more viable. |
| Course Content | In the course, the basic concepts of entrepreneurship will be explained in order to create a mental background for the analysis of case studies in the following lessons. Then, starting from the motivation stage of entrepreneurship, creating a business idea, providing financing, putting the business into practice, etc. Various case studies related to the processes will be analyzed. Some of these case studies will be examined through the document. Some case studies will be discussed in the form of inviting experienced entrepreneurs from the sector to the course and conveying their own experiences to the students. Before each lesson, students will be asked to prepare for the lesson by researching the case study that will be examined in the next lesson. The course requires a high level of student participation. |
