| Course Objective | The aim of this course is to help students understand the importance of the business model through a specific system of thinking and to teach them what it takes to write a clear, comprehensive, actionable and persuasive business plan. |
| Course Content | This course will help students understand the importance of the business model, based on a strong business idea, through a specific thinking system. The course focuses on how to design and structure a business model to unlock its potential and opportunity. Students will be given the opportunity to better understand the premises and consequences that influence decision making when embarking on their own initiative or project. Multidimensional information such as evaluating the general applicability of a business idea, understanding its strengths and weaknesses, and seeing the risky sides of the business will be presented through the Business Model Canvas. After creating the Business Model, the second part of the course will focus on what it takes to write a clear, comprehensive, actionable and persuasive business plan. A business plan is an entry ticket to the entrepreneurial journey and is essential to the planning and implementation process of starting a new business. Students will understand what is required of the business plan in relation to its various parts and understand how a business idea both assists the internal development process and how it functions as an effective tool for external communication. With discussions on business models and business plans, the course will make a strong contribution not only in theory but also in practice. |
