Course Objective To give theoretical knowledge and ability skills about the transition to primary school, to be ready for school, the preliminary preparations and related activities for primary education.
Course Content Definition of school readiness and readiness factors affecting the primary preparation dimensions (physical, social, emotional, cognitive, language, self-care skills), school readiness preparation activities for acquiring competencies, characteristics of primary education programs, and comparison with pre-school education program, school activities related to reading and writing skills in preparation for pre-preparation, readiness assessment methods to pre-school children in primary school.
