Course Objective The aim of this course; provide for advanced knowledge about the basic components of the urinary system and working mechanism .
Course Content The content of this course, introduction to urinary physiology, circulation and regulation of renal blood, glomerular functions of kidney, tubular functions of kidney, clearance methods, sodium balance and regulation of extracellular fluid volüme, potassium balance, calcium and phosphate balance, acid-base balance, urine formation by the kidneys, characteristics of urine, mechanism of diuresis, kidney function tests, artificial kidney.
