Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to give basic knowledge about how sound occurs from the sources, disseminate in the environments, and perceived by the human auditory system. 

Course Content

Frequency, period, basic motion, How sound occurs, spread, perceived. Basic sound, complex sounds, musical instruments as a sound sourcess. Acoustical principles (Pitch, timbre, vibrato)
