Course Objective

To deal with the relations of Turkish music elements with each other. To provide to be able to identify the instrument. Acquiring the ability to recognize and execute the authorities. To help him gain experience with the method.

Course Content

Introducing the instrument, holding technique, playing simple melodies. Method follow-up, performance of the work, exercises. Method follow-up, work performance, exercises. Week Course Topics Preliminary Preparation
1 The repetition of the past period. Reminding by repeating the topics learned in Age IV.
2 Application of Nihavent scale on kaval, related studies and work studies. Researching information about Nihavent makam, finding works, firstly performing nihavent makan on kaval by the instructor.
3 Application of Hicazkar scale on kaval, related studies and work studies. Researching theoretical information about the Hicazkar makam, finding sample works related to it, first vocalizing the Hicazkar makam by the instructor, then having it applied by the students.
4 Application of marble array on kaval. Theoretical description of Misket series, performance of sample works by the instructor.
