Course Objective

To give general information about the instrument. Contributing to relevant field courses. To have a prediction about the instrument repertoire and performance. To direct the researches about the instrument. To gain the awareness of accompaniment.

Course Content

Introduction of 7th, 8 th and 9 th positions in Tarda. Playing studies and appropriate works that include these positions. The use of rich wires. Continuation of scale studies in various tones. Performance of etudes and works written in these tones. Explanation and application of various signs and abbreviations specific to the special playing techniques seen on the notes of the pieces. Introducing Azerbaijani traditional music genres and introduction to performing (various mahnı, reks samples).
