Course Objective

The aim of this lesson is to develop the mathematics student teachers’ abilities of designing tasks which they will use in mathematics teaching process.

The aim and importance of using tasks in mathematics teaching; the properties of tasks used in mathematics teaching; Issues to be considered in designing and implementing a taks; evaluation of sample tasks; designing tasks; assessment and evaluation in activity-based classrooms.
