Course Objective

To develop awareness of domestic violence, child neglect and abuse, as well as to gain professional skills in prevention and intervention methods.

Course Content

Family structure and dysfunctional family patterns; types and symptoms of violence, incest, support to family members who are victims of violence; types of domestic violence, causes and consequences of domestic violence, prevalence of domestic violence; primary, secondary and tertiary prevention issues.
