Course Objective To know basic concepts of science; to comprehend basic features, functions and purposes of science; to comprehend technics of qualitative and quantitive and select appropriate method in scientific researches; to improve collecting, interpreting and reporting data.
Course Content Science and basic concepts, ( fact, data, utter, accurate, erroneous, vb.), basic concepts of history of science, structure of scientific research, scientifisc methods and different opinion of scientific research, problem, research model, creation and sample, collecting data and method of collecting data, (qualitative and quantitive collecting data methods), data registration, analyzing data, interpreting and reporting data.

Week Course Topics Preliminary Preparation
1 To introduce of course content and to give examples about researches.
2 Basic concepts about scientific research: Describing Science, Scientific knowledge, fact, concept, principle, act, hypothesis, theory. Describing “research” and the process of scientific research.
3 Describing the origin and the history of scientific research methods. Describing the starting of the research improving the research puestions. Trying to improve the questions about extent.
4 The process of collecting data. Revising creation, sample and variable concepts. Giving information about educational research methods. Improving sample about extent.
5 Explaning quantitive survey designs and bsic concepts.Determining the problems about quantitive methods.
