Course Objective Integration of students to technology teaching and introducing them technology of informatics, making them prepare suitable mathematical activities by means of exploring updated properties of programmes,making them be informed about the importance of computer based instruction, advantages and disadvantages of it, comparing the traditional education and computer-based instruction with respect to the roles of students and teacher.
Course Content The place and importance of technology of informatics in mathematics education, analyzing the updated programmes used in the world in mathematics education, exploring the features of these programmes, forming the geometrical structures, presentation of geometrical application which are appropriate the classroom atmosphere, discussion on the presented activities and the effectiveness of these programmes. The contribution of the technologies used in mathematics teaching, the evaluation of the roles of teacher, the roles of students, the roles of computer programmes, development of the technology based activities, the evaluation of the usage of the technology in terms of advantages and disadvantages.
