Course Objective

Competencies and responsibilities of the teacher possess, the basic principles of purpose and understanding of mathematics teaching elementary math course curriculum objectives, content, teaching-learning process and the purpose of evaluation of teaching and basic principles.Mathematik clutch size analysis, elementary math lesson curriculum areas of learning realize the issues and evaluate the teaching-learning activities.

Course Content

The purpose and basic principles of mathematics teaching, mathematics teaching history (world and in Turkey); mathematics teaching and learning strategies in teaching primary school mathematics curriculum scope, purpose and characteristics of relationships with the major theories of learning and teaching mathematics, mathematics education major skills, connections, representations, communication, reasoning, problem-solving (strategies, milestones, problem types, etc.); information technologies, the development of number concept in children (before counting the developments, one to one mapping, cardinal value, merging, sorting, comparing, equivalence, scarcity, abundance, and so on.), place value, and structural properties of natural numbers, arithmetic operations, elementary math lesson 1 2. and 3 issues related to classroom curriculum, and their appropriate activities örnekleri.Geometry gains, the development of geometric thinking of children, 2 and 3 dimensional geometry concepts and their teaching of geometry in program activities with the appropriate model, measure, measure the idea of child development, size, area , volume, time measurement, weighing, currency and, sample activities appropriate measure in program, data management, tables and graphics, appropriate sample of data in program activities, evaluation and assessment in mathematics education.
