Course Objective

Teaching the normal form and structure of human body to the nurses and midwives who will take on tasks such as protecting human health, healing diseased body and taking part in the diagnosis chain of the diseases.

Week Course Topics Preliminary Preparation
1 Introduction to anatomy and general anatomy terminology. Anatomic parts, regions and cavities of human body.
2 General bone and cartilage knowledge. Anatomical structure and parts of a typical bone. Apendicular skeleton.
3 Bones of axial skeleton, spinal column, pelvis, thorax and cranium.
4 General joint knowledge. Joints of cranium, shoulder, trunk, spinal column and inferior/superior extremities.
5 General muscle knowledge. Muscles of head, neck and trunk.
6 Inferior/superior extremity muscles. Functional classification of muscles.
7 Anatomical structure of the heart. Arteries and veins of human body. Lymphatic system anatomy.
8 Neck, pharynx, trachea, lung and mediastinum anatomy.
9 Alimentary canal and accessory digestive organs anatomy.
10 Kidney, ureter, bladder and urethra anatomy.
11 Endocrin system anatomy. Male and female reproductive system anatomy.
