Course Objective In this course students; basic characteristics of bacteria, diseases and diagnosis of these diseases, microbiological testing, epidemiology, treatment and prevention is to enable students´ grasp.
Course Content This course Gram-positive cocci, gram-negative cocci, Gram-positive bacilli, Gram-negative bacilli, anaerobic bacteria and pathogens that cause infections. Mycobacteria, Spirochetes, Chlamydiae, Rickettsiae, bacteria such as mycoplasmas. Applications identification will be made by examining the properties of these microorganisms
