Course Objective This course will try to discuss the main currents and thinkers that contrubuted to the theory of culture in the western thought from Descartes to our time.
Course Content In this course we will concentrate on western philosophy in terms of the theory of culture. From this perspect, we will discuss Descartes, Kant, Romanticism, Nietzsche, Heidegger, Dilthey, Schleiermacher, Gadamer, Frankfurt School and Poststructuralism.
