Dersin Amacı To look at the development of modernity in terms of culture. In tihis context to focus on the works of German thinker Walter Benjamin.
Dersin İçeriği By focusing on the Works of Walter Benjamin, to realize a cultural critique of modern society. In this context, to analyze especially “Arcades Project” of Walter Benjamin. To discuss Benjamin’s philosophy of language, marxism, philosophy of history in relation to passages, modern public, culture industry.
