Week Course Topics Preliminary Preparation
1 Studying the executions of social policy after the second constitutional period and new expansions carried out by Committee of Union and Progress.
2 Studying the social life during the First World War and the effects of war on society.
3 General outlook of society during the war years, occupations in the country and social resistance, Turkish society towards the National War of Independence
4 Social categories in the war years and state’s attitude towards these groups.
5 Definition of social polices of Turkish government during the war years
6 The first executions of social policies and evaluation of programs of the governments from this context.
7 Evaluation of social policies of the government in Istanbul (Here it is especially focused on its heritage left to Turkish Grand National Assemble)
8 Evaluation of working condition, agriculture and industry during the War of Independence in Turkey, the conception of social security during the War of Independence
9 Executions of Turkish Government for dependent population during the War of Independence (Women, children, olds, hapless, victims of disasters etc.)
10 Emigrants and refugees during the War of Independence social polices towards these groups.
11 Studying financial resources of executed social policies.
