Course Objective

It is aimed to teach ınternational classification of diseases, importance of classifications and inform about usage in Turkey.

Course Content

The historical development of the international classification of diseases, international classification of diseases, importance, classification and coding systems, fundamentals, examples of the classification system in the world, the international classification of diseases in Turkey, the use of ICD-10 coding rules and an overview of the system, the basic structure of the system to ICD-10, ICD -10 alphabetical index system use tabular list of ICD-10 system, the use of ICD -10 coding standards.
