Course Objective Make an economic analysis based on the key terms of knowledge, technology, entrepreneurship and innovation;
analyse the determinants of productivity and innovations and discuss the sufficiency of the market mechanism; criticize the neoclassical and keynesian approaches, which are the main currents in this field.
Course Content Long-term economic growth lies on knowledge and innovation-oriented technological developments. Developing countries won?t be able to reach the level of developed ones just so they don?t increase their capital formationand improve their technology.New technologies acquired by means of new products and production methods provide firms with the most important competitive advantage in the globing world.
