Course Objective Help to understand and interpret proteome analysis used in the diagnosis of disease and the abnormal changes in cell level. Also, inform about how proteomic works in biochemsitry, medicine and biotechnology.
Course Content Introduction, proteomic research in general, two dimensional electrophoresis (2-D) in protein analysis, protein degradation by enzymes and separation of polypeptides by HPLC, analysis of peptides and proteins, bioinformatics in proteome analysis, model systems of proteome analysis.
