Course Objective Wide-researches related objects in nanometer-sized are called nanotechnology. The driving engine of the electronic world is miniaturization. Synthesis of thin films, nanoparticles, nanowires, and quantum dots are included in the scope of nanotechnology. Electrochemical synthesis is one of these syntheses and the method advantage is the application simplicity, economy and ecological cleanness. Since this reasons, to inform the students about this topic will be beneficial.
Course Content Introduction to nanotechnology, synthesis and application fields of nanomaterials, functional materials, semiconductors, electrochemical synthesis of semiconductors, introduction to electrochemistry, the basic concepts in electrochemistry, electrodes, electrochemical techniques: cyclic voltammetry, linear sweep voltammetry, chronoamperometry, electrolysis
