Course Objective

The purpose of the course is to enable students to communicate more effectively in the work place. Each unit of the course focuses on a particular theme in the business world so that students can build their vocabulary and confidence in speaking over a variety of topics. The discussions, listening exercises, and videos presented in each unit encourage the students to use the acquired language skills actively.

Course Content

The course contains four to six themes, depending on class performance. The themes cover areas such as customer service, sales, and logistics. Each theme is presented with a background in the context of real-life situations, communication skills, vocabulary relative to the theme, grammar, and a case study or video.
