Course Objective Analyzing the relationship between geographic conditions and opportunities of Turkey and the current economic structure of Turkey by understanding the geographic basis of Turkey’s socio-economical structure
Course Content Population of Turkey, settlement in Turkey and its problems, the sectors (agriculture, industry, services, communication, energy etc.) in Turkey with systematic approaches applied in economic geography will be individually handled. The general characteristics of Turkish economy (population, national income, employment etc.) will be analyzed.
