Course Objective It is aimed to analyze internal and external dynamics and its formation and application that affect Turkish foreign policy considering foreign policy in historical periods for foundation of Turkish Republic
Course Content Firstly, considering Turkish foreign policy at the National defense period up to Lozanne Peace agreement, institutional framework of Turkish foreign policy at the Republic period, main objectives and periods, foreign policy between two wars, Turkeys out-war policy at second world war and relations of war between States, new approaches in foreign policy at Cold War, alliance with west countries, foreign policy at democrat period, Turkish foreign policy after 1960s coup, relations between USA and NATO, Relations between AET, Cyprus Issue, Relations between USA and UN in 1990s, Middle East, Balkans, foreign policy after Cold War, new opportunities and threats and current issues national and international parameters will be analyzed. The structure of course process is an interactively student participation based and opened to issue discussion.
