Course Objective To teach start and development in historical process, method, technique of the folklore studies in the world. To teach adventure of begin to practice, as a term naming stages, as a discipline when the first began to deal with, stages of reach to universal quality of the folklore in Turkey and nowadays folkore studies.
Course Content To teach term and definition of "folk", "lore", folklore, field of folklore and aim of folklore, term of culture, moral culture products, material culture products, folklore and literature relations, folklore and fakelore, version in folklore, general rules of folklore, laws of folklore, research techniques, methodology of folklore,resources of Turkish folklore, social norms, transition periods in folk culture, ceremonies, celebrations, folk kitchen.
