Dersin Amacı

The compressive strength and durability expected from concrete in the past is not enough for the architectural designs which do not know borders today and they are looking for new kinds of materials or concrete that will answer the need. In special projects, properties such as high compressive strength, ductility, penetration ability, high early strength and resistance to very severe environmental effects expected from concrete are expected. Today, one of the materials that can respond to these expectations is the new generation high performance concrete which is increasingly used. The number of experts in this field is limited with increasing usage in our country. In this context, the high performance concrete course will be a basic course for students who want to specialize in their studies or who want to do doctoral dissertation work.
