Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to provide the solid understanding of financial markets and their functions, instutitons, instruments and valuation of financial assets and thus to enable the students to make rational investment decisions.

Course Content

Financial markets, economics of saving and investment, structure of capital markets, capital market instruments, Turkish capital market, bond valuation, stock valuation, risk and return, portfolio theory and asset pricing models, fundamental and technical analysis, efficient market hypothesis.
