Course Objective

In addition to gaining knowledge and skills related to basic life support, it is aimed to gain competencies in applying first and second assessment techniques and providing care in medical emergencies.

Course Content

Basic Life Support Principles, Aseptic techniques, Wearing Sterile Gloves, Wearing a Box Shirt, Hygienic and Surgical Hand Washing, Tools Used in Oxygen Therapy, Oxygen Therapy, Defibrillation, Automatic External Defibrillation, Evaluation techniques, making the first and second evaluation of the patient or injured, oral and parenteral drug administration, intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, intraosseous drug administration, aspiration administration, ECG recording, Mechanical Ventilator follow-up, case study.

1 Applies asepsis, antisepsis, surgical asepsis, antisepsis, disinfection, asepsis methods
2 Learns and applies the chain of infection, the body's defense mechanism, briefly introducing microorganisms and ways to prevent infectious diseases.
3 Body temperature , introduction of respiration and how it is measured , Evaluates and applies normal and abnormal values
4 Introduction of blood pressure, pulse and how to measure it, Evaluate and apply normal and abnormal values
5 Learns and applies drugs used in emergency medicine, how to do drug administration and drug dose, i.v. fluid calculations (oral, i.m, i.v, s.c, int. dernal, int osseosis, rectal).
