Course Objective The course will consider both geological and atmospheric geo-hazards. Some of the topics will be earthquake hazards, volcanic hazards, tsunamies, landslides, atmospheric geo-hazards (hurricanes/typhoons, tornados), floods, drought, and fire. This course also deals with human made problem on the earth and finds appropriate solutions for them.
Course Content Concepts of environment and ecology, natural and human made problems and their approaches, international scales of natural problems, stabilizing of conscious of environment and introducing to environmental associations, environment policies and current environmental problems in Turkey
