It is aimed to convey the adventure of the concept of Human Rights in Islam and the Ottoman Empire to the students.

Course Content

The concept of human rights, Human Rights in the West, Human Rights in Pre-Islamic Societies, the concept of Human Rights and fundamental rights in the Ottoman Empire, The Rule of Law and Respect for Law in the Ottoman Empire, Regulations on Human Rights in the Tanzimat Period.
