Dersin Amacı

The aim of the course is to introduce students to the fundamentals of comparative literature in the axis of Johann W. von Goethe's "World Literature" ("Weltliteratur") concept, and to gain the basic field knowledge necessary to conduct studies in this field.

Dersin İçeriği

The content of the course is to examine the emergence, historical development, schools, basic tendencies and orientations of comparative literature, the working methods adopted in the light of the data of this field and to evaluate the examples from the studies in this field.
