Course Objective

Teaching numerical systems, various number sets and teaching basic concepts related to these subjects; identifying the misconceptions that may arise in the students related to these subjects and proposing solutions about these issues

Course Content

Setting number system, natural numbers, operations in natural numbers, numbers with different bases, integers, multipliers and folds, divisibility rules, LCM and GCD concepts and their applications; Ratio, proportion concepts and their applications; Real numbers, exponents and radicals, fractions, decimals, percentages; Rational and irrational numbers; Teaching basic concepts about sets (organizing course content - using appropriate teaching materials and strategies, etc.); Student knowledge about these subjects (understanding, interpretation, student difficulties, mistakes, misconceptions and causes of students thinking about concepts); These topics are related to daily life and other lessons.
