Course Objective | To acquaint students with scientific research methods and how these methods used. |
Course Content | What is the knowledge? What is the scientific knowledge? Epistemology and ontology. Basic concepts of research methodology. The problems of science education. To examine thesis and articles at science education field. Qualitative methods: survey models, experimental models. Basic conversions at scientific research methods. The effect of quantitative research on scientific research. Quantitative research process. Varieties of quantitative research. The contributions of quantitative research on science and practice. To compare with qualitative and quantitative researches. Data collection techniques and data analyses. Data analyse with analyse programmes in computer. References arrangement. To draw up a report. To prepare proposal. The proposals are presented by students (SEMINARS). |
