Course Objective | The purpose of this course is to give information in detail on historical development of the EU from 1945 till today. |
Course Content | The course provides an integrated study of the historical development and power and policy-making in the EU today. The course aims to develop students´ awareness of the interaction between the theoretical and historical developments in the study of the EU. This includes knowledge of the European integration process, the origin and progression, and the critical analysis of this by relevant theoretical perspectives. The Course content includes topics such as Reconstruction, Reconciliation and Integration term, transformation from community to union, Enlargement, Constitutional Change, Institutions, Decision Making, Economic Integration |
