This course aims to examine the concept of political parties and composition of the political parties in Turkey. In the part of the parties, the birth and development of political parties, their functions, organizational structures, party systems and financing issues will be discussed. political parties in Turkey subject will be evaluated in the context of Turkish Political Life I and II.
The main objective of the course is to discuss the Turkish political parties in detail, to challenge the foundation of the parties on the theoretical basis and to emphasize the importance of intra-party democracy. During this process, it is also aimed at embodying the possible levels of the issues with examples from the world and our country.

During the course, theories such as birth theories, typologies, intra-party democracy, political party financing will be discussed in the course of 14 weeks. The topics will be concretized with homework presentations based on examples of political parties that guide Turkish political life.
