Course Objective To inform the students about the basic elements forming a text and about the linguistic, grammatical and functional qualities defining the genre; to show students the importance of text linguistics in text ananlysis and to maket hem comprehend the superstructure of sentence, to teach them analysis of content and utterance.
Course Content Definig the criteria of textuality, speech-act theory, discourse ananlysis, text types; comprehending and commenting on the text production procedure.
