Course Objective

To teach the concepts of literary works, literary periods and literary history belonging to New Turkish Literature. In order to ensure that it is a linguistic and aesthetic pleasure introduce transitional periods, literatures, works and literary genres of texts, learn text analysis methods and techniques. 

Course Content

Recognition studies of Turkish Literature products during the First and Second Term Tanzimat Period. To make analyzes on the selected texts of the important works of the period and thus to determine the characteristics and effects of the period. Dönem içinde önem kazanan sanatçıların toplumsal, kültürel etkilerinin yapıtlarından yola çıkarak belirlenmesi. Servet-i Fünun and Fecr-i Âti period’s main characters in Turkish literature and social events that give direction. Analyzing some products belonging to these periods that showing characteristic features and using them in Turkish education
