Course Objective

Comprehending historical development of Calligraphy and its status and importance in Islamic Art, and learning types of Calligraphy and aesthetical and artistic features of at least one of them.

The emergence and historical development of Calligraphy, types of Calligraphy and areas of use of these types, equipments of Calligraphy and preparing these equipments, Sülüs exercises.

9 S/he is able to evaluate Religion and religious issues philosophically, sociologically and psychologically.
10 S/he has knowledge about non-Muslim religions at the level of comparing.
