Course Objective By acquainted with concept of evaluation and measurement in education and teaching, student learn how to use valid, reliable and useful measurement techniques, knows statistical methods related to measurement results.
Course Content Concepts of measurement and evaluation, validity and reliability in measurement, measurement techniques, statistical procedures, measuring the behaviors and performance evaluation, techniques of preparing questions.

1 Evaluation and measurement in education. Definitions, practices and problems.
2 Direct, indirect measurement, measure, criterion, relative and real criterion, kinds of mistakes and measurement. Real and relative evaluation.
3 Specialties that there must be on a measure: validity, reliability and usefulness.
4 Test analysis: hardness index and calculating the differentiation.
5 Oral exams, short answer tests, true-false tests, combining tests, multiple choice tests.
6 Central agglomeration measurements.
