Course Objective

1-Helping the students learn about the negative structural changes, deteriorations and destruction brought about at the end of the process of the diseases the clinical characteristics of which are learned by the students who are taking education and are going to be employed in the field of health.
2-The aim of the course is to help the professionals to be employed in the field of health to understand the normal microscopic structure of the human body, to learn normal histology to be able to understand the pathological changes in this structure emerging due to disease, and to conceive the microscopic morphological structure in which the physiological phenomena take place.

Course Content

1-Teaching the degenerative, metabolic, inflammatory, tumoral and immunological events in the diseases that affect the human organism causing various changes in tissues by means of different mechanisms, and the micro- and macro-level structural tissue changes and degenerations brought about by these events.

2- Histology techniques and microscopy methods, the structures and functional features of the cells and four basic tissues.
