Course Objective

Understanding of following topics; the effects and importance of family planing on population and family, the role of midwifery on family planning services., the methods of family planning, the causes of male and female factors in infertility, psychological conditions of infertile couples, learning of the new methods at the diagnosis and therapies in infertility.

Course Content

Benefits of family planning, Physiology and anatomy of male and female reproductive organs, consulting in family planning , evaluation of person and couple, prevention of infection, intrauterine device, hormonal contraceptive methods, barrier methods, natural family planning methods, voluntary surgical sterilization, contraception after birth and abortus, emergency contraception, contraception in special cases, infertility
