Dersin Amacı The course aims to provide information about different ideology approaches, usage of ideologies in media and types of uses. In the course, students are expected to evaluate relations of ideologies with reality, consciousness, economic infrastructure, language and hegemony. In this way, students will have broad knowledge for studies to be conducted in the field of “media and ideology.”
Dersin İçeriği In this course, some core topics will be discussed; such as ‘How do political thought and ideologies shape media? How do these thoughts and ideologies become functional through media? How these thoughts and ideologies are represented in different media platforms.
