Course Objective

The aim of this internship is to provide students to gain knowledge about the drugs used in anesthesia applications, anesthesia methods (general and regional anesthesia), follow-up, treatment methods and drugs used in intensive care patients, acute and chronic pain treatment and used drugs, airway provision, endotracheal intubation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Course Content

Preoperative evaluation, monitoring, general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, anesthetic drugs, airway provision, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, chronic pain and its treatment, intensive care treatment, sepsis, ARDS, respiratory failure, mechanical ventilation, acid-base balance.
